Why Reach Out Trust Was Formed
Our journey began with humble community efforts — neighbors coming together to create handmade articles and objects, showcased at cultural events like Chitrakala Parishat. With support from the erstwhile Community Services of Bangalore (CSB), these initiatives helped us raise funds for programs that empowered women, improved local environments, and supported neighborhood schools. We also partnered with leading NGOs to expand the impact of our work.
As our efforts grew, we took on larger projects, most notably the revival of Lake Sadahalli and the surrounding nine villages. This dried-up lake, once a lifeline for farmers and communities, became the focus of our mission to restore water security, biodiversity, and social harmony.
Today, Reach Out Trust stands as a collective of committed citizens, working hand-in-hand with communities, government bodies, and partners to ensure that every step we take contributes to healthier ecosystems and stronger, more resilient lives.
